Assignment 1: Redesign the Fronts of Buildings Students will learn: Move Tool, Marquee Tool, opacity, layers, Transform/Scale/Skew. There must be 5-6 images on the buildings.
Tips for Learning:
When searching for your image in Google, make sure you are finding high resolution images so you can have the best quality in your work. An easy way to do this is to use the filters located in the search tools on Google. Type in your Google image search, and above your displayed results click on search tools -> size -> large.
Save your work. Find the Art Student folder already located on your computer, and create a new folder within it that is labled with your first and last name. Save all your work and souce images here for easy access from Photoshop. Don't forget to save all your final and in progress work onto your thumbdrive at the end of class.
Once your work is completed, be sure to save both a Photoshop version and a JPEG version of your image. You may need the Photoshop version for additional editing, and the JPEG version will be used to upload the final product to your Wiki site. Your Wiki page will only accept JPEG images.
Go back to the 3rd instruction on your "How to Make a Wiki" page for instruction on how to upload your final images. This can be found in Step 3.
